In the first programme of the new series, contestants from all walks of life will compete including; one of the founders of Parkour, a PHD student and a charity challenge leader. Also competing in episode one is Project Support Officer Martin Heald who lost his leg as a teenager and is a member of the England amputee football team.
Viewers will also see some very well-known faces having a go at the course in this series. In the first programme, JLS star and the husband of Ninja Warrior host Rochelle, Marvin Humes will try his luck on the course and Towie star Lydia Bright will give it her all to get past the six challenging obstacles.
Heat 2
Ben Shephard, Rochelle Humes and Chris Kamara present the physical game show. With brand-new obstacles to face, the course is more extreme than ever, and in this episode celebrities including former Blazin' Squad member Kenzie and ex-Olympic medallist Katharine Merry - as well as a 'Lobster' - are among the competitors taking their turn and trying to defeat it. Who will be triumphant, conquer the course, and get the chance to climb the 22-metre rope climb to the top of Mount Midoriyama?

With brand-new obstacles to face, the course is more extreme than ever, and in this episode Gethin Jones, Jenni Falconer, and Josh Cuthbert from Union J will be among the competitors taking their turn and trying to defeat it. Who will be triumphant, conquer the course, and get the chance to climb the 22-metre rope climb to the top of Mount Midoriyama? Anyone who can achieve that will make Ninja Warrior UK history.

But when Max gets arrested and ends up helping Ellis solve a local crime, the two are offered the opportunity to redeem themselves, with Ellis going back to detective and Max staying out of jail. The catch? They have to work together, with each using their unique skills to solve crimes. For Ellis, that means hard-boiled shoe leather police work; for Max, it means accents, schemes and generally befriending everyone in sight, while driving Ellis absolutely nuts. Against the backdrop of beautiful Vancouver — with all its unique, charming, and even contradictory neighbourhoods and subcultures — the two will have to learn what it means to trust another person and maybe actually become partners.
