Орхан Памук
В этом выпуске программы «Нобель» Дмитрий Быков рассказывает о лауреате Нобелевской премии 2006 года, турецком писателе Ферите Орхане Памуке. Ему вручили награду «За поиск души своего меланхолического города». В своей лекции Дмитрий Быков рассказал об особенностях творчества турецкого писателя, который был и является большим другом России, он диссидент, его называют постмодернистом, ему свойственен антиимперский, изгойский склад. Главные слова, которые пронизывают все его творчество, — город, книга и печаль. «Лучшее, что может остаться от империи — это печаль, говорил Памук. Он поэт печали», — рассказывает Быков. Орхан Памук нанес Турцию на литературный глобус, он показал эту страну с нового ракурса — как музей бывшей жизни, страну, у которой все уже случилось в прошлом, а писатель ее оплакивает.
