Under pressure from the Booth Corp. board, Alex decides to increase profit margins by purchasing the GW Club from Frankie, and when he refuses, she devises a plan to snake it from him - an act that doesn't sit well with Chris. Distressed at seeing Alex and Chris together, MJ commiserates with a singer performing at the hotel and finds a musical outlet for her troubles. Meanwhile, Gabe is starting to get his surfing career on track when the love of his life unexpectedly arrives at The Grand Waimea.
