Rich (Yannick Bisson) takes a job at a logging camp for quick cash, and impresses himself when he defeats the camp's boxing champ. But Pan (Ted Atherton) suspects a scam is afoot.

When Gloria's friend is injured, Rich and Pan have to go on an all-night ride to find a doctor.

Rich hires a young cowboy to help out at the ranch when there is a labor shortage, but the man's romantic interests soon complicate matters for his employer

A dispute over a cattle herd leads to a race to market between Rich and Pan, and the competition makes Rich and Gloria wonder if having a partner on the ranch is worth the trouble.

Pan (Ted Atherton) clashes with a female veterinarian over Kit's future plans after the woman invites Kit to relocate with her to a practice in Calgary.
