Nowa is a series about the work of police officers who solve the riddle of mysterious murders, kidnapping and fraud. In so doing, they support their forensic science technicians, prosecutors and inspectors, as well as professional negotiator. The main plot revolves around the struggles of young graduates of the Police Academy in Szczytno, Ada Mielcarz (played by Justin Schneider), the difficult reality of working in the command Metropolitan Police. Ada gets an internship in one of the best teams CID led by Inspector Pauline Barska (Margaret Kożuchowska). The young heroine has to prove that fit into this group. Ada is by Barska inspector assigned to the team by Commissioner Matthias Wolski (Maciej Bosak). Wolski does not accept them, treat as an intruder, considering that the criminal world is the domain of men.

Not all of the celebrities will make the cut, however; after an opening potluck dinner each mentor selects three recruits to be on her team, leaving one celebrity to be sent home before the competition really begins. Burrell is looking to extend her record to 5-2, while Ray looks to get the win in her first season.
