На этот раз десятка членов жюри проводит кастинг в Екатеринбурге, а лучшим певцам дарит шанс попасть в следующий этап отбора. В столицу Урала съехались таланты из таких городов как Сургут, Тюмень, Нижний Тагил, Пермь, Казань, Бишкек, Душанбе, к тому же ожидается гость из Кубы. Все они нацелены получить наивысший балл от членов жюри - 10 голосов, только в этом случае появится возможность побороться за место в новом шестом сезоне и спеть в масштабном проекте "Ну-ка, все вместе!". Среди судей кастинга в Екатеринбурге: Сергей Лазарев, Николай Басков, Этери Бериашвили, Олег Влади, Ирина Ортман, Олеся Евстигнеева, Андрей Солод, Ирина Олифер, Николай Ерохин и Григорий Юрченко.
