Season 1
Six-part series about an obituarist working at a small-town newspaper, who suddenly finds herself being paid by the obituary due to cuts. When she "accidentally" kills a nasty piece of work, she discovers she might have an untapped bloodlust, and sets her sights on other unpleasant residents of the town. Her killing spree hits a potential snag when the paper hires an attractive crime correspondent.

An obituary writer for a local newspaper fears she may lose her job when her editor tells her she is only being paid per obituary. So when deaths trickle to a halt, she decides to start murdering the more unpleasant residents in her small town - and the more she earns, the more she discovers she has an untapped bloodlust.

Hiccups
With her next victim selected, Elvira finds herself distracted by anonymous poison-pen letters and sets off on a mission to find out who is sending them. Through a series of twists and near misses, Elvira ends up finding a new victim, which brings her closer to Emerson, who it is revealed has come to Kilraven to solve the murder of a German woman there five years previously.

Stay of Execution
Elvira finds herself blackmailed by a teenager who saw her murder her first victim. Ward goes to AA while Hughie catches a break when he finds the rifle used to kill Maria Riedle.

Weapons of Minor Destruction
Desperate to prove to herself that she is not a monster, Elvira pursues a drunk driver released from jail who mowed down a father and daughter.

Wild Goose Chase
Elvira decides on whether or not to kill her friend as Mallory reveals that she has information that Elvira may be involved in a murder. Hughie sends Emerson on a wild goose chase.

Body Count
When Ward reveals what really happened the night Maria Riedle was killed, Elvira sets about framing Hughie for the crime. A surprise face returns to Kilraven.
