BBC Olympic Breakfast starts on Saturday 6th August at 6am, and will be waking up Britain with all the overnight action from Rio 2016.

Based in a special studio within the home of BBC Sport for the duration of the Games, BBC Olympic Breakfast will be bringing audiences the overnight highlights and thrills of the world's greatest sporting spectacle.

The regular team on the sofa will link up with Dan Walker, Ore Oduba and Kat Downes in Rio. It will be the first chance to catch up on all the medal moments, the latest news and the key interviews from the Games and of course to follow all the action from Team GB.

In addition to the excitement of the Olympics, Breakfast will continue to feature the usual news, weather and regional bulletins.
