One Night in Idaho: The College Murders - Season 1

Season 1

Episodes

Part One
The idyllic University of Idaho campus in the small college town of Moscow, Idaho is shattered when four popular college students – Ethan, Kaylee, Maddie, and Xana – are found murdered in an off-campus house on a Sunday morning in November 2022. Shock turns to fear when the police reveal there is no suspected killer in custody and no clear motive. The killer could be anyone in the community.

Part Two
The police department's initial refusal to give information isn't helping quell the rising tide of terror, and many students flee campus. In the vacuum of information, social media sleuths fuel speculation and rumors. When the police finally do speak, horrifying details are released, and fears are heightened when they admit there's still an ongoing threat, urging everyone to remain vigilant.

Part Three
In a shocking turn of events, seven weeks after the murders, a suspect is arrested – a complete stranger to the victims' friends and families. The arrest sends shockwaves through the community, as more and more questions arise about who he is and what his motive could have been. The police reveal the forensic evidence they've gathered, laying out what led them to believe they found their suspect.

Part Four
A detailed account of what happened the night of the murders is revealed, including details from the eyewitness. The biggest remaining question is, who was the killer's target, and why? A potential motive emerges, as the delayed trial looms in the distance. The University, friends, and families are attempting to move forward and reclaim the narrative about how the victims should be remembered.
