After his dream Norway job doesn't go quite to plan, Richard just wants to hide away from the world. Sadly for him, Ken has other ideas - mainly forcing him to join the protest group fighting to save the local allotments.

Seize the Day-Lewis
A depressed Richard searches for a real job and embarks on a fitness journey as his 40th birthday looms. Meanwhile, Ken prepares for his first first date in almost 60 years.

Dual Control
With Ken needing to resit his driving exam in order to win back his license, Richard offers to take him out on a mock test, not realising just how rusty his dad has become behind the wheel.

Training Day
Ken forces Richard to accompany him to Aviemore so that he can help him navigate the QR code scanner at the train station ticket barrier. However, a mix-up on the platform turns what should be a simple day trip into an almighty fiasco.

Secrets and Ladders
Ken is looking forward to having Beth over for dinner, but when Emily and Tim also turn up, an unexpected party gets under way. As the night progresses, secrets threaten to spill out.
