ORELSAN : Montre jamais ça à personne - Season 1

Season 1
Episodes

Orelsan is a figure of French music. But 20 years ago, in Caen, he did not plan to make rap his profession. Singing about the boredom of the middle class in the provinces, that doesn't exist! The only ones to believe it are his friends Skread, Ablaye, Gringe and especially his little brother, Clément. Camera in hand, the latter films it tirelessly.

2006. Orelsan is a provincial rapper. To release your first album, you'll have to fend for yourself. The arrival of MySpace is a godsend. But you still have to find a record company. With his friends, always followed by his brother Clément's camera, they set themselves a challenge: to make a clip themselves, in Caen, and have it broadcast on TV.

2008. Orelsan is now in the process of writing an album. But none of its titles are radio-compatible. There is only one solution: to seek out your audience by performing on stage. Orel and his friends, always followed by the camera of Clément, his little brother, manage to organize a tour. While all is going well, a song from Orel resurfaces and launches a huge controversy.

C'est nous le futur
2010. A year after the controversy, Orelsan has completely stopped music. When Skread and Ablaye persuade him to make a second album, the hard part is figuring out how to get back. But the lost provincial loser undergoes a metamorphosis and his second album is a triumph. Always followed by his brother's camera, Orel is ready to experience his first real tour, carried by his very first popular hit.

2011. With Le Chant des Sirènes, Orelsan has changed dimension. King of the opposite, he decides not to continue his solo adventure. He revived the Casseurs Flowters, the group created with Gringe in the early 2000s. But Gringe hasn't rapped for years… Once their universe has been rediscovered, their eccentric adventure will come to life on CD, television and even in the cinema…

2016. After the enchanted break of the Casseurs Flowters, Orelsan wants to come back with a new solo album. But five years have passed, rap has changed. New trends, new artists, is Orelsan still in the game? The Party is over is an opportunity to put an end to the post-teen years and become an adult. The dazzling success of the album will exceed all his expectations ...
