Episode 1
The Owens' build approaches its second anniversary, as they continue to transform their run-down Yorkshire farmhouse into their new family home. In spring, builder Richard embarks on the huge job of plastering walls, while Amanda has to make big decisions on the kitchen. Dan the joiner arrives with the new doors, but Nancy queries the lack of a cat flap. After a busy lambing season, the sheep return to the moor, and Amanda takes the chance to dig deeper into the recently transcribed Anthony Clarkson diary.
Episode 2
It's summer and the children are making the most of the school holidays, swimming in the stream and going off in search of their new peacock chicks. Sid and Amanda inspect a vital bridge that's collapsed on the track up to Anty John's, and Raven returns to help celebrate Nancy's ninth birthday with the rest of the family.
Episode 3
As the main interior work approaches completion, Amanda takes the girls go on a camping trip under the stars in Swaledale, and heads to a local antiques shop in search of a traditional Yorkshire fireplace to restore and fit into Anty John's new living room. Derek the historian takes Amanda, Clem and Nancy to the church where the house's former owner got married.
Episode 4
The Owens prepare for Clive's 70th birthday, Amanda worries about a premature newborn calf, and Clemmie and Annas are hoping to seal a deal to buy their first ever sheep. Reuben, Clive and Sid set to work on repairing the road bridge up to Anty John's, where the underfloor heating is finally about to be turned on, much to the kids' delight.
Episode 5
Autumn turns to winter as the Owens prepare to say goodbye to a much-loved family pet. A farrier re-shoes the horses, and Amanda sets out for a canter in the Swaledale countryside. Clive gives Annas, Clemmie and Nancy a lesson in working with Nellie the sheepdog, while Amanda chooses ceiling lights and installs an antique fireplace as Ravenseat sees the first snow of winter.
