Meanwhile, a young man on the cusp of enlisting in the army digs into secret World War II history of his code-breaking great aunt, who was an early member of the Women's Canadian Royal Naval Service.

In the second episode ‘Enjo & Vogel', a Japanese Canadian survivor of World War II internment and his daughter take a journey to revisit the past, shedding light on a multigenerational story of sacrifice and endurance. In another child-parent story, the son of a Royal Canadian Airforce bomb-aimer, uncovers the prisoner of war experience his father never spoke about.
