Kyle's relationship with his girlfriend, Jillian, is on the rocks as the pair futilely hunt for Killiecrankie diamonds.

After a near-catastrophic cave-in at Shane Dohnt's crocoite mine, Kyle Archer and his team must work an abandoned drive reclaimed by rainforest, while Frankie and Ebriony's grassland garnet expedition is cut short by bushfires. Their second sapphire mine still offline, The Rubyvale Boys send Shayne underground for any hope of reaching season target.
