During his conversation with the mystery person, CHIN-CHEUNG agrees to do the trade as soon as they kill TING-MING and SUN-FUNG, but the mystery person requests CHIN-CHEUNG to let SUN-FUNG go. CHIN-CHEUNG and CHI-TING return home and see SUN-FUNG, and it turns out that SIU-MEI asks SUN-FUNG to conduct an investigation as she is afraid that CHIN-CHEUNG might be harassed again. On one public occasion, CHIN-CHEUNG's non-indigenous resident identity is exposed by one of the villagers, UNCLE HENG, who even brings along CHIN-CHEUNG's mother to prove that CHIN-CHEUNG is not a descendant of the HO clan. Having learned of CHIN-CHEUNG's non-indigenous resident identity, BING-YAN refuses to continue to cooperate with him. Although SIU-MEI knew that CHIN-CHEUNG was not her biological brother a long time ago, she has been keeping the secret for the whole time.… ...
