Iris and Willem are a couple, but Elsie is resentful and depressed in prison and Pepijn wants custody of Menno and is prepared to fight for it.

Willem vanishes. Iris and Marit are suspicious and push for a police investigation to begin, but a letter from Willem causes Iris to question their relationship.

The judge has given the public prosecutor's office 30 days to find Willem. What will Couwenberg do? Meanwhile, Iris does everything she can to prove that the note she received was not from Willem.

After viewing the video, Elsie phones Couwenberg and they call the police. The police investigate one of Willem's ex-clients but also see Couwenberg as a suspect. Pepijn tries to re-enter Iris's life.

Mike voices his suspicions that Couwenberg is behind the ransom demand, but the police do not see the link. Meanwhile, Couwenberg's son gives the game away to Iris and Raymi.
