Pacific Station - Season 1

Veteran detective Bob Ballard (Robert Guillaume) sees eccentricities seeping into the station when he meets his new partner (Richard Libertini), who's just back from psychiatric leave, and his captain (Joel Murray), a "political" appointee.

While Al uses a disguise to hide from a con, Bob uses Capparelli's place to hide from a domestic dispute.

In the squad room: a pitcher who could win Al's bet if he wasn't under her arrest; and accountant marked for death by her criminal boss; and a former partner not anxious to reteam with Capparelli.

A computer lists Bob as dead, but Capparelli is alive with feelings for Bob's replacement; Al's girlfriend wants their relationship out of limbo.

The presence of Bob's first partner has Capparelli bent out of shape; Calloway matches Al rumor for rumor.

A psychiatrist says Capparelli is OK, but Bob needs a rest; Al lures Sandy to Lake Tahoe with a promise of Alex Trebek, who has a cameo; the Captain hits Hank's car.

Bob and Capparelli talk a jumper off a ledge, only to have him take them hostage; a romance is revealed between Al and the Captain's mom.

Bob isn't thrilled when his son decides to become a cop; a pretty DEA agent has Al on his best behavior; the Captain coaches Hank for a TV appearance.

Bob isn't serious about his need for a tonsillectomy; the Captain gets too serious about his assigment with Calloway.

Calloway busts a TV star on a morals charge; Capparelli recalls Woodstock---thanks to the daughter he fathered there.

Bob's father is too much for Bob; a new secretary helps the captain look like a captain.
