Artist Jim Moir, aka Vic Reeves, and his wife Nancy visit beauty spots around Britain and create original pieces of art celebrating the unique species of bird native to that region over the course of a weekend. They begin by heading to Northumberland, meeting actor Mark Benton and artist Bethany Maddocks on the trip.

Cornwall
The couple head to Cornwall in search of the red-billed chough, with local artists Flynn O'Reilly and Sarah Bell joining them on their journey.

Kent
The couple are joined by pianist and broadcaster Jools Holland and local artist David Hunt as they travel to Kent to paint the long-eared owl

Scotland
Singer-songwriter Edwyn Collins and his wife Grace Maxwell join Jim and Nancy as they travel to the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides to paint the golden eagle

Yorkshire
The couple visit the East Yorkshire coast to paint gannets and are joined by local experts and artists Colin and Jess Self, as well as Jim's mum Audrey

Lancashire
Jim and Nancy head to Lancashire looking for the cute but elusive bearded tit, and are joined by broadcaster Chris Packham, local experts, birders and artists.
