Stéphane Colin, a businessman who seems to succeed in everything, is in fact riddled with debt. One day, his wife and two daughters mysteriously disappear. Revel and Rousseau, put on the case, fear that, pushed to the limit, Stéphane has kidnapped them himself, perhaps even murdered in a moment of bewilderment. But soon, a demand for ransom reaches the grieving father and husband.
