The world's most decorated female gymnast returns to reclaim her crown, having withdrawn from the Games three years ago, citing a debilitating spatial awareness condition known as 'the twisties'. She has since recovered and made a spectacular return to the international stage at last year's World Championships, collecting four golds. Elsewhere this afternoon, the men's singles tennis reaches the quarter-final stage on the famous clay courts of Roland Garros
