Pat a Mat - Season 1

Preparing a chicken roast is not as easy as it seems, and Pat & Mat are masters at destroying everything in the process of trying to make something.

After opening a can of goulash, everything splashed out onto the walls and curtains. So the sane thing to do is add new tapestries all over the room. But that's not a one-man job and when the going gets tough neighbour comes to the rescue.

After having so many books with no space to put them, one of the neighbours decides to make a DIY bookshelves. The other neighbour soon joins. But building a good bookshelf requires money for tools and by the time it's built all the books will be sold to buy those tools. So bookcase will soon become a tool case.

After the carpet gets dirty there's a whole overture of tasks in order to clean it. So much so that throwing it away would've been a better solution if they knew what was going to happen.

After falling off the chair several time by swinging while watching TV, they decide to build a rocking chair... which leads to several accidents in the process.

Getting the new picture is great, but the frame is too big to fit through the door. Of course, the best solution is to cut out the picture and chop the frame to smaller pieces and then glue it back together again. Yup, that's the BEST course of action.

They got the car. They got the garage. Now it's time to park it... or destroy the car trying.

While trying to play a game of chess, Pat & Mat realise that all figures are white. So they add color to one set... but mistakenly color all pawns black. Of course, that doesn't trouble them as they just exchange between white and black pieces and end up with 16 each, despite not matching the shapes. The problem here is that light bulb needs replacing and for some reason that is not as easy to do as it sounds.

After the needle on the gramophone doesn't turn properly, our trusty neighbours decide to fix the gramophone... then fix the vinyls... then fix whatever they broke until there's nothing left but to play their own music.

Returning to the theme of the pilot of trying to prepare the grilled chicken. But those frozen meat samples are too slippery to hold and too hard to cut through. In the end, when everything fails, building a home fireplace is the last solution... but alas, thinking of building a chimney on the outside did not cross their minds.

It's moving day for Pat & Mat, and they're loading everything they can find on their convertible.

Preparing everything for gardening in their summer house, Pat & Mat build the garden but realize their well is dry. While keeping on digging in hope to find the water, they find out their house is next to a river.

Preparing a place in their garden for a garden gnome only to break it the moment after placing it. But that doesn't break their spirit, and they make their own even larger garden gnome.

Single spider-web on the ceiling requires some cleaning. But after making it all the dirtier the ceiling now needs some new paint. This proves too complicated for one man job, so it's time to call the trusty neighbour for help.

Sitting in a nature, being bored, and looking at birds and butterflies, the idea to find a way to fly is born. While one of them is perfectly content just reading the book, all the work around him starts to intrigue him and before long both of them are devising all sorts of methods to fly.

Being so engrossed into solving a crossword one of the neighbours forgets about his iron getting hot which make a hole in the floor and all the way down to other neighbour's apartment. Both seem to want to continue solving crossword puzzles, but something needs to be done about ironing the laundry so they build a machine to do it for them.

Hearing birds chirping, Pat and Mat decide to build a birdhouse. But when no bird comes they have to resort to some inventive alternatives.

What starts as washing laundry soon turns into washing anything and everything.

After their TV broke down while watching sport, Pat and Mat decide to engage in various outdoor sport themselves. The problem is, they did all the sport activities indoor.

Pat & Mat are heading to county in search of a good spot for picnic. But being busy bees as they are, the turn the part of nature into what looks like their own living room.

Pat & Mat get the washing machine, and when they finally manage to get it up on the second floor and connect it to a water source, they don't end up using it to wash laundry.

When rain pours in through every nook and cranny in their summer house, Pat and Mat decide to fix the roof.

After canceling the camping trip due to car troubles, Pat and Mat set to make outdoor camping experience indoor.

The grapes are ripe for picking so Pat and Mat drive to their vineyard and decide to make some wine. But not wanting to do everything by hand, they try to automatize it as much as possible.

Watering their garden and going through all things, Pat and Mat discover an old pair of skates so they build an ice skating area on top of their vegetable garden.

Pat and Mat just bought a new piano and brought it back to their house. But it's in one piece and too bit to bring through the front door so alternatives are being considered.

Pat and Mat engage in pottery but it keeps tumbling down until they find a good method to maintain the rotation speed.

Problem with the antenna is preventing one of the neighbours to watch a football match so he calls his best friend to come to his aid and do something about it.

They picked all the apples in the yard, but one remains out of reach. And apparently, the sweetest apple is the one you can't have.

Living in next door houses, Pat's fence gate's key falls into the sewer drain and Mat helps him retrieve it. This is the first time they are introduced as Pat & Mat and you can hear their names on the house doors. The series also changed name from "...A Je To!" to "Pat & Mat".

Pat bought a whole lot of new furniture, and Mat naturally helped him assemble it. The result was a catastrophe. But they found another use for all the broken woodware.

After lawnmower breaks down, Pat and Mat look for an alternative ways to trim the grass in their yard.

Pat and Mat are throwing garbage like there's no tomorrow. After their own trash cans are filled they borrow those from the neighborhood, but even that is not enough so they bring in the garbage truck.

Pat's roof is leaking so naturally, he calls his best buddy Mat to come help fix it.

Pat has a problem of his front door constantly closing while hoisting laundry and eventually he locks himself out. Now, with Mat's help, they try to figure how to get in through the window on the first floor that seem to be open.

When Mat runs out of cookies, Pat and Mat decide to bake new ones, but first they have to make the dough right.

Pat & Mat play the game of cards, but the buzzing fly interrupts the fun. This special unreleased 50th episode was completed in 1998 by some members of the original aiF Studio and was to be the beginning of a new format of the show. It is also the first time voice-acting was used for Pat and Mat.
