Episode 1
In this episode, Paul meets 13-year-old Mackenzie, who was born with microtia, a condition that meant his left ear was underdeveloped. He also meets brother and sister Emily and Luke, who were both born with cystic fibrosis, and gutsy nine-year-old Lara who has a blood disease that has affected her since she was a baby.

Episode 2
In the second episode of series, Paul joins eight-year-old patient Lily for a scoot around the hospital corridors. Lily was rushed to GOSH three months earlier with severe pain in her thigh. After a week of tests she was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of leukaemia.

Episode 3
In the third episode of series, Paul meets 11-year-old patient Fazeel, who suffers from a rare condition known as EB, which effects just 5000 people in the UK and currently has no cure. Fazeel's condition means he has delicate, painful skin and also needs regular eye checks to look for damage or blistering inside the eye.

Episode 4
Paul meets 13-year-old, dog-loving Amelie, who's been coming to GOSH since she was a baby with a very rare case of juvenile idiopathic arthritis. Paul also gets to meet another little girl that has lived at GOSH since she was 11 months-old, three-year-old Esme, who has a complex heart condition. Lastly, Paul meets eight-month-old little charmer Alexander, who was born profoundly deaf. He's going to have surgery which could mean Alexander will finally be able to hear!

Episode 5
In episode 5, Paul first meets three-year-old Angel who is a regular visitor to Eagle Ward, the hospital's kidney centre. Effervescent Angel has been visiting GOSH three times a week for two and a half years as she needs dialysis while she waits for a new kidney, and her infectious personality has made her a much-loved patient. Paul is soon smitten by her positive character, so much so he readily accepts her invitation to her upcoming birthday party on the ward – but when the big day arrives, can he help make it a celebration Angel will never forget?

Episode 6
In the final episode of the series, Paul meets nine-year-old Ocean who was in perfect health until she woke up one morning with a headache and a mysterious swelling on her forehead. Following tests, Ocean was diagnosed with Pott's Puffy Tumour, a very rare life-threatening bone infection. Ocean bravely says, "I wasn't scared or worried, I was just wondering what it was."
