The eighth series finds Mark (David Mitchell) waiting for Dobby (Isy Suttie) to move in and Jeremy (Robert Webb) searching for other living arrangements. Mark pays for Jeremy to go to therapy which results in yet another new career for Jeremy after his band with Super Hans (Matt King) breaks up. The inner-most thoughts of the main characters are made known to viewers through voice overs.
