Vidhita reveals to Pushkar that Ashwin chose him as the prospective groom, while it was she who chose the groom in her previous marriage proposal. She further reveals that she used to know Vivek before the marriage, since they were classmates. Pushkar asks Vidhita to dance for him. He deliberately hurts her, making it look like an accident. When he goes out to get medicine, he sees Vidhita hugging a stranger. A furious Pushkar beats him up, only to realise that the girl was not Vidhita.
