After the argument with Johanna Augustin, Maria decides to write a book herself - easier said than done. And then her former best friend Nikki gets in touch. Maria avoids her problems and invites herself to go bowling with Sophie and her friends. Ralf spends the evening with his daughters, Lily and Lotta, trying to save what's left of his family.

Maria tries to come to terms with an unpleasant truth about Max. Her father also surprises her with an unexpected confession. Even the unwanted psychological advice from dog trainer Hakan doesn't help. And Ralf also has to deal with some bad news that changes his entire life - he gathers the whole family together for a big dinner...

Ralf wants to become a new man. Nikki forces Maria to have a day of reconciliation.
