A game show in which hens compete to see which one can keep from clucking the longest? And in which goldfish play croquet and hamsters take part in a Grand Prix? It sounds unbelievable but this series promises just that.
In each programme's five rounds animals of the same species strive to win prizes for their owners in games such as That's My Stick Insect and Tortoise Speed Marathon. The owner of the overall winner gets the chance to play for a holiday by answering questions, not surprisingly, on animals. It tests the imagination but in future shows cows, hamsters, snails and ferrets all get to take part.
Episode 2
A series in which pets compete to win their owners prizes. This week's contestants include a cockerel taking part in Baffle the Rooster.
Episode 3
A series in which pets of all shapes and sizes compete for a place in the winner's enclosure and the chance to win a holiday for their owners. This week's contestants include two ducks, Billy the goat, and a King Charles spaniel.
Episode 4
A series in which pets compete to win prizes for their owners. This week's contestants include Gaston the cockerel and a fish called Arthur.
Episode 5
A series in which pets compete to win prizes for their owners. This week's show features sprinting snails, rats leaving a sinking ship, birds singing, sheep jumping, and half a dozen dalmatians.
Episode 6
The last programme in the series features shire horses pulling pints of beer, drag-racing cockroaches and tennis-mad dogs.
