Peyton admits to Betty that Brian Colby, actually named Brian Cord, is Steven's father, but that he held it a secret to protect everyone. She is mad, but agrees to keep it a secret from Steven. Meanwhile, Mike asks Connie to give Ann a job, but she responds she doesn't think Ann is suitable. Chris announces he will soon go back to Boston and asks Allison to come and say goodbye when he does. Sandy admits to Rodney Lee is drinking too much and that she is scared. Norman and Rita visit Catherine's grave. Steven tells Betty he can't get Brian Colby out of his mind and expresses his suspicion the man has got something to do with his past. Betty has trouble holding information from him, and Steven thinks her weird behavior has got something to do with Rodney.
