Ann announces she plans on staying in Peyton Place. Peyton wants to invite Steven to visit him in the hospital and later lies to Ann about Brian's drawing of Catherine, claiming he never met him. Leslie admits he wants to know everything about Ann's connection to Peyton to use it for his own advantage. Sandy tells Chris Lee only behaves that way because he loves him very much. Steven confronts Hannah with her connection to Brian, but she denies every one of his accusations. She changes the subject to Betty, admitting she doesn't want her to live in the Peyton mansion. She also tells him Rodney met with Betty in her house when he was in Boston. Steven leaves in an angry temper.
