De cop i volta apareix el pare del Lopes, l'Oriol, un hippie que fa de professor a Porrera. Allà s'ha quedat sense feina perquè ja no hi ha nens i ha vingut a demanar un milió de pessetes al Lopes perquè vol reformar la masia i convertir-la en una granja d'agro-turisme. El Lopes li diu que no perquè arriba just a final de mes, però l'amistat que agafen el David i l'Oriol el fa sentir culpable. El David, l'Oriol i l'Alba (una amiga del David) comencen a fer performances a La Rambla però l'Oriol acaba a la presó per resistència a l'autoritat. El Lopes s'enfada molt i l'obliga a buscar feina, de manera que l'Oriol comença a treballar de venedor d'enciclopèdies amb una imatge totalment diferent.
