Playhouse Masters (2016-2017)

EndedReality show

Every child's wish is to create their own fictional world, and a whimsical playhouse is the perfect setting for their ideas to come alive. Tyson and Audy Leavitt create the most elaborate, over-the-top playhouses out of their family-run shop called "Charmed Playhouses". We'll follow the couple from design to installation as they turn their cute clients' dreams into reality in TLC's Playhouse Masters. From Steph Curry's daughter who dreams of a princess pony playhouse, to Ali Landry's children who are eager for the ultimate birdhouse, the Leavitts' have no boundaries when it comes to new ideas. Meanwhile, Ryan Zimmerman's daughter wishes for a castle straight out of a storybook, and Alana De La Garza's children hope for a planetarium playhouse.

Tyson takes the lead in building the creative structures from the ground up, while his wife, Audy, brings life to the interiors, transporting children wherever they desire to go. A magic wand that controls lights and an interactive puzzle made of locks and deadbolts are among her portfolio of one-of-a-kind accessories. The Leavitt kids also have a job and it's the envy of kids everywhere - they are the official playhouse testers, who get to climb over each structure, making suggestions and giving their seal of approval. But the challenges don't stop when the construction is done. They face a final, huge task - moving the playhouses from their workshop to the client's property. The team uses cranes, wide-load flatbeds, and spotting trucks to transport their finished work down winding highways, under low power lines and on muddy, slippery roads. But when it comes time for the big reveal, all of the hard work is worth it.

Amandaland

Following three series of the Merman-produced, BAFTA award-winning series Motherland, a brand-new spin-off, Amandaland, is coming to the BBC, focused on Amanda.

Post her divorce, Amanda has had to downsize and up sticks to South Harlesden, or as the Estate Agent calls it SoHa (definitely not the area around Wormwood Scrubs prison).

With both Manus and Georgie now at secondary school, Amanda has to try and get her head around raising teenagers, dealing with modern motherhood horrors like teenage drinking, fake Instagram accounts and eco anxiety. Not even a woman as certain of her parenting as Amanda can deal with these nightmares alone.

Then there's Amanda's mother Felicity who is constantly around, and completely in denial that she is, in fact, lonely. Theirs is a slightly unhealthy co-dependent relationship based on backhanded compliments and veiled snipes about her new home.

After a brief spell of freedom, Anne is sucked back into being Amanda's minion to help her navigate the social scene with the other parents at the children's new school. Thank God for Anne.
