Daniela Montenegro and Santiago Rodríguez fall in love at first sight. However, the shadow of a tragic past casts a shadow over their story: Horacio, Santiago's father, murdered Daniela, Daniela's mother and the wife of his business partner and friend, Diego Montenegro, 20 years ago. To avoid prison and protect his family, Horacio manipulated the evidence to frame Diego, who was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Now that Diego is about to be released, Horacio will do everything in his power to eliminate him, and Daniela and Santiago will find themselves caught in a struggle to reconcile their violent past and overcome other obstacles to consummate their love.
