The mayor of the city of Polyarny dives into an ice hole at the celebration of Walrus Day... and does not come up. At the personal request of the governor, Vitya takes a vacant place in the administration and gets acquainted with a visiting investor by the name of Lomaev. Irka is trying to get Tolya a job. Polina's mother, Antonina Vasilyevna, is coming to Polyarny. Which manages to make an indelible impression on Nemolyaev.

Vitya calls Raisa to help him and finds out that the former mayor left behind a multimillion-dollar hole in the budget. In search of a solution to this problem, he turns to Lomaev for help and finds out that he planned to demolish the city for the sake of his own business project. Vitya decides to stay in the mayor's chair and fight for the Polar to the end. Tolya and Kolya are doing repairs in Irka's apartment. And Antonina Vasilyevna arranges a debauch in kindergarten.

Tolya is trying to teach Irka to joke. Slava simulates stealing his own car to pay off the loan. Vitya apologizes to the head of the kindergarten for yesterday's incident and learns that according to the documents, the luxurious Novikov house is a failed new building of a children's institution.

Vitya and Raisa go to the Northern Economic Forum in search of investments and decide to hold the Russian Biathlon Cup in Polyarny. Lomaev's companions put the latter in front of the fact that no Cup should take place in the Polar. And Nemolyaev is taking Antonina on an exotic date.

Vitya is re-educating local officials. Angela finds out that she has one year left to get pregnant. And also about what Hurts about children does not even want to think about.

Polina suggests Bolt and Angela to start training on a dog instead of the children. At the same time, Tolya and Kolya are implementing an audacious plan to sell a very special dog of Kolya's father. Of course, these two stories cannot but intersect. And Vitya comes into conflict with his mother-in-law on the basis of his son's alleged preferences - ballet or boxing? That's the question.

Vitya is faced with the problem of laying a new road to the regional center - the fault lies with intractable radical eco-activists. Lyuba suspects that Slava is cheating on her. And an inspector comes to the Department of Internal Affairs, who tries to persuade Nemolyaev to intimacy.

Lomaev, with the help of a local blogger, puts fake dirt on Vitya on the network. And Novikov is trying to steal an impressive amount of cash from his former home, which has been turned into a kindergarten.

A very specific inspector comes to Polyarny in order to assess the readiness of facilities for the Biathlon Cup. Vitya, of course, has her own plans for him. Tolya and Kolya get a task from Irka – to change the mattress. And, as always, they approach the task very creatively. And Novikov goes to a regular grocery store for the first time in many years.

Lomaev decides to set up representatives of the indigenous peoples of the North against Vitya. Will it work? Kolya offers Tolya a new startup – a polar photo with a live boa constrictor. What could possibly go wrong? And Antonina Vasilyevna finds out that Nemolyaev has big gaps in the school curriculum.

Kolya offers Tolya to illegally get hold of gasoline at the carpool. Bolt decides to replace Angela's vitamins with slightly different pills. And Slava begins to doubt whether he should marry Lyuba.

Tolya and Kolya are really quarreling for the first time. And Vitya, under pressure from Antonina Vasilyevna, is forced to visit a theatrical enterprise.

Polina is trying to reconcile Bolt with Angela. Slava is looking for a witness for the wedding. And Nuzhdin decides to become an alpha male.

Lyuba and Slava are getting married. Vitya and Raisa open the Russian Biathlon Cup. It would seem, what does Demis Caribidis have to do with it?

Vitya is behind bars. Lomaev and Novikov celebrate the victory. Is everything really gone? But... what should Zyuzin do?
