Polen - Season 1

Jacobo returns for his mother Beatriz's birthday, and she dies in public. Everyone assumes it was suicide, except him. Sandra, a police officer, requests an autopsy. The results show that she didn't commit suicide; she was poisoned with a bouquet Jacobo gave her.

Sandra stops Jacobo. Wendy visits him, and he asks her to hide a box. Sandra is in the room while Wendy hides the box. Jacobo thanks her, unaware that she read a letter and now knows that Beatriz imprisoned Jacobo's father.

Paco confesses that he delivered the flowers. Alejandra reveals that the Prosecutor's Office has a video of the killer. Federico removes Sandra from the case. At the wake, Sandra confesses to Jacobo that she was friends with Beatriz. Juan burns some of Beatriz's documents.

Estela tells Sandra that the poison that killed Beatriz grows in the rose garden. Jacobo and Sandra drink and go to bed. Jacobo finds Lirio's ring among Paco's things, just as the rose garden catches fire. Sandra suspects everyone.

Sandra decides to move in as a guest to be close to everything. Jacobo confronts Paco, who confesses his love for Beatriz, but also that she loved someone else. Andrés brings Sandra the evidence that incriminates Jacobo.

Sandra investigates Jacobo's past, and he becomes determined to find his mother's lover. The prosecution sets a trap for the killer, and Juan begins receiving incriminating messages. Sandra discovers that Jacobo murdered his mother when he was a child.

Estela convinces Sandra to take advantage of her relationship with Jacobo. The family learns that Jacobo is the only heir, Eduardo decides to leave Alejandra, and Isabella attempts suicide. Jacobo discovers that Sandra was his mother's lover.

Sandra becomes convinced that Jacobo is not the murderer. Estela finds the withered flowers and the bottle of poison in her room. Wendy reveals to Jacobo that he is the father of her child. Sandra gives Jacobo Humberto's box, and he destroys it.

Sandra discovers that Federico had a personal motive for accusing Jacobo and returns to the case. Alejandra receives an envelope containing the medical report stating that Jacobo killed her mother, Luciana. Alejandra doesn't notice that the envelope is marked: 6 hours.

Alejandra reports Jacobo, and he learns that Wendy gave the evidence against him to Andrés. Sandra convinces him to turn himself in. Alejandra dies from poisoning; the poison was in the envelope containing the evidence against Jacobo. Wendy shoots Andrés.
