A desperate man (yet another old friend of Derek's) seeks and gains possession of some ancient Egyptian scarab jewelry which saves his terminally ill daughter but at a very high price.

A museum curator, working for the Luna Foundation calls the SF Legacy House to notify them of a break-in. After an initial inspection nothing is found missing. The Legacy finds out otherwise.

While checking out some sewers in Chinatown, a couple of workers unearth and open a box that was hidden in the wall. What they let loose is a really angry spirit who reeks havoc on them and several other men around the area over the course of a few days.

Derek meets a young, female college student while giving a lecture for a colleague's class. She tells him of some mysterious photographs she's taken and frightening visions that are connected to a series of recent strange deaths ongoing in the area.

While hosting a Luna Foundation invitation-only affair to introduce a rare addition to its collection, two brothers crash the party. They steal a medallion that belonged to their dead father, a magician. One of the brothers, guided by his father's evil spirit, goes the magician route to make it big by doing what the audience just thinks are some really macabre tricks.

A girl is attacked by what are later revealed to be witches at her all-girls boarding school.

Bells ringing all over town, centered around a dead geneticist's lab, tip off the Legacy to start an investigation.

Rachel becomes the sole beneficiary in a will after the death of her aunt.

After a dream, Alex seeks out an old acquaintance of hers from college who, up until recently, didn't believe in anything he couldn't scientifically prove.

Rachel's grandfather comes back.

A trio, comprised of three other heads of Legacy houses, comes to the San Francisco house because a Legacy member there has accused Derek of being evil and conspiring to bring down the house.
