Having retired from the force, police veterans Leonid Kovalsky, Oleg Semionov and Stas Romanishin find themselves back on civvy street. While Leonid and Stas are invited to teach at the Law Academy, Oleg becomes an executive secretary for the Police Veteran Fund. Leonid and Stas take up their new positions, adjusting well to civilian life. Leonid's forensic workshops are extremely popular with the final year students at the Academy who enjoy the vivid accounts of his previous investigations. Stas cultivates a fighting spirit in his lawyers, not only instructing them in the principles of martial arts but also teaching them the morals and beliefs behind the philosophy.
