Episode 1
Potter, late of "Pottermints", and his friend and drinking companion the Vicar, feel that Potter's neighbour, the amiable Tolly, has a gap in his life. Can they fill it happily?

Episode 2
The Vicar tells Potter that the church needs a new boiler. Potter, with all his experience, has an immediate plan to raise the necessary funds.

Episode 3
Potter, with time on his hands and all his managerial abilities straining at the leash, attempts to help his neighbour Tolly. It doesn't quite work out that way, but Potter is totally blameless.

Episode 4
Potter and his friend the Vicar go for a quiet drink in the pub and are rather startled by the arrival of a man in a boat.

Episode 5
Aileen has arranged a coffee morning with friends but Redvers Potter is going to spend the day clearing out the garage loft. These two occasions are not happily complementary.

Episode 6
Potter, the Vicar, Tolly and their wives have been invited to a cheese and wine party. Inevitably, Potter decides to help some of the guests, but it does not necessarily make for a happier party.

Episode 7
Potter cadges a lift from his neighbour Tolly to the golf club via the vicarage to pick up his Partner. Sounds simple, but problems occur which stimulate Tolly to behave in a most untypical way.
