Season 1
When Texas preacher Jesse Custer is inhabited by the renegade spawn of an angel and a demon, he gains the power to control people with just a word. Now Jesse, his badass ex Tulip, and his friend Cassidy (who happens to be a vampire) are thrust into a twisted battle spanning Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.

Pilot
Jesse struggles to escape a past that is slowly catching up to him. A mysterious entity comes to earth, leaving a wave of destruction in its wake.

See
Jesse begins to realize that he has a special gift after learning of Ted's death. Meanwhile, Fiore and DeBlanc come looking for Jesse, and Cassidy takes extreme steps to stop them.

The Possibilities
Jesse revels his power to Cassidy, who soon makes a deal with Fiore and DeBlanc. Meanwhile, the town starts to talk about Tracy opening her eyes, and whisper behind Donnie's back about what Jesse did to him.

Monster Swamp
Cassidy tries to keep Fiore and DeBlanc off of Jesse after they express their willingness to cut open the preacher with a chainsaw. Meanwhile, Jesse approaches Odin with an offer: the church land if Odin doesn't accept God.

South Will Rise Again
Jesse sets out to use the Voice to solve the troubles of the people of Annville. Meanwhile, Odin agrees to a meeting with the Green Acres people, Donnie realizes what he's up against, and Tulip and Cassidy begin a relationship.

Sundowner
After DeBlanc and Fiore tell Jesse about the source of the Voice, they receive a visit from a higher angel. Meanwhile, Emily and Tulip bond, and Eugene asks Jesse to take back what he did.

He Gone
Jesse tries to deal with what he did to Eugene, while Odin insists that he hasn't become a Christian and demands that Jesse turn the church over to him.

El Valero
The townspeople gather to watch Odin and the Meat Men try to take the church. Meanwhile, Jesse receives a visitor and calls upon Fiore and DeBlanc to remove Genesis from him.

Finish the Song
Jesse escapes police custody and steals the angels' line to Heaven so that he can summon God to Texas. Meanwhile, Tulip tells Emily what Cassidy really is, Miles pays Emily a visit, and the true nature of the Cowboy's fate is revealed.

Call and Response
Jesse prepares to summon God to Annville, but soon realizes that you can't always get what you want.

After a brain injury erases the last eight years of her life, Amy must navigate an unfamiliar world where she has no recollection of patients she's treated, colleagues she's crossed, the soulmate she divorced, the man she now loves and the tragedy that caused her to push everyone away. She can rely only on her estranged 17-year-old daughter, whom she remembers as a 9-year-old, and a handful of devoted friends, as she struggles to continue practicing medicine, despite having lost nearly a decade of knowledge and experience.
