When they finally reach Barski's house, they find their children splashing in the lake and their grandparents in great spirits. Zofia, on the other hand, visits Felicja and together they hang up leaflets about Bożena's disappearance. In a café at the marina, Zembalski meets Hanka Pietrewicz, a journalist for a local newspaper.
