After five years, Andrea and Santino's love affair with the suburbs is over, and with their two little boys in tow, they're now desperate to head back downtown. But there's a hiccup in their master plan. If they don't spruce up their well-worn family home and sell it for top dollar, they won't be able to afford their pricey urban upgrade. Armed with power tools and a winning strategy, the Property Brothers step in to make the family's downtown dream home a reality. And with unfinished DIY projects everywhere, Jonathan gets busy with repairs and a massive overhaul. Meanwhile, Drew has a tricky job on his hands because while Santino would prefer a fixer-upper, Andrea is fed up with renovations and has her heart set on a turnkey DIY-free beautiful, move-in ready property.
