Young model Filip moves through life with abandon, banking on his carefree charm and charisma to get him out of any situation. But when he's confronted with a serious family tragedy, Filip must decide whether to grow up or risk losing all he has left.

Overwhelmed by the reality of his sister's death, Filip finds himself approaching Tosia's biological father about taking her in. Later, a night of blowing off steam lands Filip on the wrong side of the law.

As caring for Tosia becomes increasingly difficult -- and complicates one of his closest relationships -- Filip furthers his commitment to adopting his niece, only to be hit with a troubling reality check.

Filip begins to make serious changes to his home and patterns of behavior, but an early visit from the social worker throws everything into disarray.

Given a rare second chance, Filip lands a steady job in a stock room, but emergencies at Tosia's daycare and with one of his agent's clients stand in the way of making it through the workday. Then, Paweł makes a startling declaration about their future.

After being hit with a devastating wrinkle in his custody case, a desperate Filip goes on the run with Tosia with help from his neighbor. Meanwhile, his case and issues surrounding the rights of gay parents make national news.

After committing to one another, Filip and Paweł head to the sea for a much-needed getaway -- but reality disrupts their trip. Then, the experience compels Filip to uncover part of his past.
