Following Prue Leith and her husband John Playfair as they move into a new home - the first time they have lived together as a married couple - and set about turning the adjacent two-acre rubbish tip into a glorious garden.

Episode 2
Prue Leith and husband John Playfair turn their attention to softening the architecture of their new home with plants, transforming a barren building site into a flower-filled courtyard and turning a challenging exposed roof terrace into a green oasis.

Episode 3
Prue Leith and husband John Playfair create a vegetable garden suitable for two and repurpose some cattle troughs as planters, while coming up against their newly planted orchard which continues to challenge them. Prue also seeks advice from old friend Raymond Blanc on a visit to his fascinating vegetable garden at Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons in Oxfordshire.

Episode 4
Prue Leith and husband John Playfair near the end of their journey to create their new Cotswold garden. They tackle two large borders to keep them flower-filled all year round and discover how to have wildflower success. They also investigate the extraordinary world of bees with a view to adding some to their wilder areas and throw a party to reunite with friends and family and share their new outdoor space.

The Gilded Age

Accompanied by Peggy Scott, an accomplished African-American woman, Marian inadvertently becomes enmeshed in a social war between one of her aunts, a scion of the old money set, and her stupendously rich neighbors, a ruthless railroad tycoon and his ambitious wife, George and Bertha Russell.
In this exciting new world that is on the brink of the modern age, will Marian follow the established rules of society, or forge her own path?
