Luo Zhongxia is an engineering student at the Huaxia University. He finds himself in awkward position when he is forced to take an elective course about Chinese history. During one of the lessons, he accidentaly breaks teacher's favourite ink brush and has to find a new one in return. Luo's quest proves to be more difficult than he imagined it to be.
