Qingqiu Apothecary - Season 1

Season 1
In the immortal realm of Sanshan Liuxian, the High God Qingxuan stands as the guardian of the Heavenly Dao, wielding the divine sword *Hong*—forged from the spiritual scales of the Tengshe serpent and the legendary Sky-Mending Stone. As the keeper of the celestial order of ascension, he oversees all cultivators seeking immortality. To ascend to the Nine Heavens, one must first pass through his judgment and sever every worldly attachment, desire, and emotional bond. Everything changes when a plum blossom demoness arrives to undergo her ascension. Though her cultivation has reached perfection, she refuses to relinquish her love for Qingxuan and the vow she made to her sisters, declaring that she would rather abandon immortality than extinguish the fire in her heart. Moved by her conviction, Qingxuan is shaken. For the first time, he gazes upon *Hong*, the sword that has severed countless ties of love and longing, only to find his own long-buried emotions reflected within its blade. The Heavenly Dao is said to be without mercy, yet unwavering faith can sometimes inspire an exception. Determined to seek the true path of cultivation, Qingxuan voluntarily descends to the mortal world. Forgoing reincarnation, he carries the Fox Clan's Spirit-Concentrating Pearl and is reborn in Qingqiu. After five hundred years of arduous cultivation in the form of a fox, he finally attains human form. Thereafter, bearing a medicine chest on his back and a sword at his side, he journeys across the mortal realm. Slaying demons, dispelling evil, healing the sick, and aiding those in need, he wanders through the countless joys and sorrows of ordinary life. Amid the vibrant tapestry of human existence, Qingxuan embarks on a new quest—not for ascension, but to discover the true essence of the Dao.
