With the foreclosure process taking away her last assets, Linda tries to keep her life together at all costs. Linda borrows money from her forgotten childhood friend Marke and becomes embroiled in a dirty business scheme.

Crime follows Linda to the workplace when Marke's boyfriend Sporan's business partner Koistinen shows up at an apartment viewing. Linda has dinner with Koistinen's boss Börje after selling him the apartment. Linda finds the cache Koistinen was looking for and asks her acquaintance Lauri, who has been sidelined, for help in starting a renovation company.
