Queens of Drama - Season 1

Vanessa Marcil, Lindsay Hartley, and Crystal Hunt ask Donna Mills help to create a new primetime drama. Donna Mills invites Hunter Tylo to join the project.

Donna invites the women to her house for a wine and cheese party to announce the CW network is interested in their project. Hunter is thrilled, but Chrystee, Lindsay, Crystal and Vanessa are upset that Donna speaks to the network without them. Personal conflicts begin to arise when Crystal makes judgmental comments about Lindsay meeting her boyfriend online.

Donna and her old friend Joan Collins teach the ladies a lesson when Crystal goes behind Donna's back. Lindsay gets all the women invitations to the Sue Wong Fashion show, but Vanessa and Hunter have to keep tempers in check when Crystal steals the spotlight.

Joan Collins calls out the women for trying to replace a successful producer like Donna. Donna wonders if Crystal should be kicked out of the group after learning of her criminal record. Crystal must make amends with Lindsay and Chrystee, if she wants to stay on the project. Vanessa and Chrystee plan their pitch for the showrunner.

The women meet the new show runner Lee Fleming and pitch their ideas. Donna discovers that Vanessa doesn't want to act in the show. Hunter tries to change Vanessa's mind about acting while on a retreat in Palm Springs.

Donna hears Vanessa has quit the project and is forced to take an unwanted role. Hunter reveals some of Donna's secrets to Vanessa. Lindsay finds out her boyfriend may have to move to New York.

Lindsay tries to get her boyfriend a role in the sizzle reel so he doesn't move to New York. Hunter finds an unflattering comment re-tweeted by Lindsay. Donna is excited to see old friend Lorenzo Llamas auditioning at the casting session.

Conflicts arise when the women gather to shoot character monologues for the sizzle reel. Hunter suffers a serious injury. Crystal questions whether Donna is trustworthy.

After Hunter's injury she cannot continue, but Donna, Lindsay, Chrystee and Crystal decide they have to move forward with production. At the sizzle reel shoot, Chrystee and Donna argue over a new scene Chrystee wrote. The women shoot their scenes, as tensions continue between Chrystee and Donna. Donna makes a crucial decision without speaking to Lindsay, Crystal and Chrystee.

A phone call from Vanessa reveals all of Donna's secrets to Lindsay. Lindsay, Crystal and Chrystee are shocked to discover that Donna is pitching the show to the network without them and decide to crash the meeting. Donna is surprised when her partners arrive at the CW offices and an argument ensues.
