Six filmmakers battle exhaustion, setbacks and misunderstanding competition rules as they race across six countries to complete their film, culminating in a shocking disqualification and a game-changing twist.

Episode 4
The six filmmakers take on a new challenge and step out from behind the camera and into their own stories, delivering a mix of personal, funny and revealing films.

Episode 5
This week all six filmmakers land in the same country, Japan. With 40 million tourists a year and a land "teeming with stories," the episode promises something different from the usual solo dispatches.

Episode 6
This week's destinations are Nepal, Scotland, Timor Leste, Louisiana, Chile and Botswana. As the competition passes its halfway mark, the filmmakers reflect on their growing ambition to take bigger creative risks.

Episode 7
With the competition entering its final stages, the six filmmakers deliver some of their strongest and most personal films yet, with emotional stories, bold creative choices and a heartbreaking deadline mishap.

Episode 8
The filmmakers are challenged to immerse themselves in unfamiliar worlds, testing their ability to connect with people, cultures and experiences beyond the surface.

It's the season final and all six Racers are together in the studio to hear who won the week, and who takes home the ultimate prize of filming a project for the ABC. Hosted by Zan Rowe, with original 90s Racer John Safran.
