A 1.5 kilometers long super train travels one of the longest, toughest runs in Australia. Port and Rail Manager George Savell feels the pressure as he tries to keep millions of dollars of iron ore on the tracks.

Episode 2
A monster sized freight train continues its arduous 3000km journey through desert wilderness. Faced with a crocodile Leigh Johns and Wil Kemp prove to be more than just train drivers. .

Episode 3
Ray Giles battles to get his sugar cane to the mill before it deteriorates, Fletcher's drivers Mark and Simon tackle the descent of the Blue Mountains in NSW and in Far North Queensland driver Wil faces a series of unforeseen delays.

Episode 4
A Fortescue track crew have just four hours to fix a faulty track. SCT drivers Cookie and Ryan are battling a freight train with a fuel problem and Pichi Richi Railroad steam train guard Ben Graefe is facing stormy outback conditions.

Episode 5
The Ghan train manager Bruce Smith must entertain passengers while battling every problem the outback can throw at him. Rookie steam train driver Allie Hume is on a nail-biting ride through the Tasmanian mountain wilderness.

Episode 6
In a race to replace a vital section of rail, project manager Colm Hand faces a series of delays that could cost his company millions of dollars. Manager of the famous Ghan train, Bruce Smith, is dealing with missing passengers.

Episode 7
Vintage locomotive, "The Snow Train", is senselessly attacked by vandals. Mark and Paul race to deliver grain and hay to Port, and in Far North Queensland, the Savannahlander drivers, Wil and Leigh, have an encounter with a stray cow.

Episode 8
Bernie Baker is on a tight deadline on board a vintage locomotive. Allie Hume is battling a temperamental engine in the Tasmanian rainforest, and on the Nullarbor plain, track crews battle through the night to repair a section of rail.
