As he pines for a phone call from Costello, Selby acclimates to his new reality and reluctantly makes a new friend. Gloria asks for Costello's help as she wavers over a life-altering decision. Iris is angry at being moved to yet another new home when disaster strikes, propelling both Costello and Iris into more uncertainty.

You Just Haven't Earned It Yet, Baby
After Costello receives surprising news that might transform her circumstances, she and Iris tie up some loose ends before leaving London, confident that they will soon return. However, as mounting pressure online threatens to take away their escape route, Costello spirals back into bad habits. After the visit from Fen, Selby opens up about his father during a heated conversation with his therapist. Gloria struggles to come to terms with becoming a mother, with dangerous consequences.

This Is Not an Exit
After receiving a troubling call from Iris, Selby rounds up Gloria and Lenny for a road trip in search of Costello, who is close to her breaking point after receiving upsetting news. Costello agrees to abandon her dreams and lead an ordinary life for Iris's sake, but the crushing weight of her disappointment won't shift, and she contemplates a different ending.
