Iltutmish finds Razia worthy of the Sultan's position. Shamshad Begum does not share his opinion. Iltutmish invites his first wife, Nadira Begum and her son, Muiz-ud-din Bahram to his palace. He also invites Qutub's sister, Uzma Begum and her son, Iqbal Khan for a special occasion at the palace. He asks Razia to provide them with the best hospitality. Meanwhile, Shah Turkan wonders about the reason for the gathering. Razia overhears Iltutmish and Mirza talk about her marriage.
