Mirza and Razia's conversation is cut short when the guards find him. He is to be thrown in prison, but Razia can stop it. Sultan Yildiz extends hospitality to Mirza, but he leaves. Razia runs after him to return the red dupatta. She tells him to keep it until the next time they meet. Shah Turkan informs a drunk Rukn-ud-din about Sultan Yildiz's arrival. Iltutmish preps Rukn-ud-din about the war next day. Meanwhile, Mirza's friend comforts him.
